Triphala is a combination of Fruits of Haritki, Bibhitki & Amalaki. In Charak Samhita, it is described as one of the Remover of diseases, Promotes health and Rejuvinate body.
In Ayurveda Haritki & Bhibitki has been described as Remover of Disease and Promotes health and Amalaki for Rasayana. Triphala is recommended and used more often than any other ayurvedic herbal formulation, as it is famous for its ability to cleans and detoxify the system along with replenishing and nourishing it.
It is said to give blessings of long life and nurture you like a Mother.
Triphala Ingerdients
- Amalaki: Amalaki is Nitya Sheelaneeya fruit, that can be consumed on daily basis and best suited for health. Paciffies tridosha (Vaat, Pitta & Cough). Richest source for Vit C & also contains Vit B1, B3, Nicotinic Acid, Iron, Calcium & Phosphorus
- Hartiki: Hartiki is one among the three that constitute triphala Very famous rejuvenating herb.
- Vibhitiki: Vibhitiki also known baheda in hindi. Means lack of fear It takes away the fear of diseases. This herb is very effective in the nourishment of dhatus of body and in pacification of tridosha. Fruit pulp is very effective in eye nourishment, hair growth and preventing hoarseness of voice. It also has mild sedative action and is also used in insomnia
